The Prince Edward County Fire Department has issued a full burn ban.
The decision outlaws all outdoor burning including burn barrels, chimineas, campfires, brush piles,
and yard waste.
Cooking devices using wood pellets or charcoal are permitted.
The full burn ban in the county is due to high winds and dry conditions over the next few days.
