As is usual in spring construction, activity is picking up and the building industry in Brighton is no exception.
In March, Brighton issued 20 building permits for a construction value estimated at $6.1 million.
In January and February combined, the permits issued were valued at around $2 million.
Last month the construction of single family or semi-detached homes made up the majority of the total $6.2 million construction value, with six homes valued at just over $5 millon.
