A full house at Belleville’s Empire Theatre ensured a record-breaking fundraising effort for the Children’s Safety Village Sunday afternoon.
The annual show, which sees a variety of performances by young people, raised over $112,000 for the Safety Village and its programming.
The organization is currently raising money for a new facility in Belleville’s Hillcrest Park which is now under redevelopment.
It’s been operating for many years at the site of the former Belleville Police headquarters.
