Fifty-nine Loyalist College students received 69 awards worth $119,450 at the school’s recent Spring Awards Mixer.
Recipients were congratulated by Loyalist College President and CEO Mark Kirkpatrick and The Loyalist College Foundation Chair Brian Smith.
“I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to our award recipients,” said President Kirkpatrick. “As you move forward in your studies and careers, I hope you will always feel our tight-knit Loyalist community supporting you every step of the way. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to the donors and community partners whose generosity makes today possible. Thank you for recognizing that investing in Loyalist College students means investing in the future of our region.”
Among the award recipients were the first-ever beneficiaries of the City of Belleville Nursing Scholarships, established by the City of Belleville to support ten outstanding students training to enter the local healthcare workforce through the College’s Honours Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
