A 21-year-old from Kingston is facing a long list of charges following a police chase in Belleville Wednesday.
Around 4 p.m., police received a call about a shoplifter at a Bell Boulevard business.
The suspect fled the scene and police saw the vehicle going west on Bell Boulevard.
The suspect stopped on an unnamed road and fled on foot.
The person was discovered by officers and the K9 unit.
He was charged with theft under $5,000, possession of stolen property (stolen vehicle) over $5,000, failing to comply with a release order x 3 and failing to comply with a probation order x 4.
He was held for a bail hearing.
