Fast response by rural Belleville firefighters to a garage fire kept damage to a minimum early Wednesday night.
At around 7 o’clock, crews from Stations 3, 4, and 5 responded after reports of a fire in a detached garage at a home on Bethel Road.
The flames were doused quickly and the damage was estimated at just $10,000. The cause was an electrical malfunction.
No one was injured.
