The Quinte & District Association of REALTORS has announced it will be proposing amalgamation with the Durham Region Association of REALTORS.
The proposed amalgamation would combine more than 2,000 members and with QDAR saying the amalgamated board would increase reach to its members as well as strengthen advocacy.
“This merger will bring huge benefits for QDAR Members: better data and better services, all at a lower cost than many of us are paying now. It’s a great news story that will help us serve our clients better,” said Natasha Huizinga, President, Quinte and District Association of REALTORS, in a release.
QDAR says the proposed integration would maintain QDAR and DRAR’s existing regional offices and dedicated local employees.
The proposal will be put to the QDAR & DRAR membership for a final vote on May 5th.
