The Municipality of Centre Hastings has announced a building permit has been issued to build a new long-term care home.
The Clare McFaul Long Term Care home is set to be a 128 bed facility located in Madoc.
It will be located on 208 St. Lawrence Street West.
130 jobs are expected to be created from the project.
The home is expected to break ground in August 2023 with an estimated completion of construction set for the end of March 2025.
The total construction value of the building permit issued is $33,898,000.
