Some surprise snowy weather Tuesday morning resulted in the brief closure of a section of Foxboro-Stirling Rd.
Quinte West OPP say the quick morning storm covered the roads in a layer of ice with several vehicles ending up in the ditch or unable to move on the road.
Quinte West plows quickly responded to sand the area and tow trucks removed the vehicles.
The road was closed for about 30 minutes.
