Changes to school bus routes and which students are able to board them are being proposed by the Hastings Prince Edward District School Board.
A recent Transportation Review process was completed and the public is invited to public meetings to provide its input into the proposed changes.
Changes include some bus routes being altered or removed and some students either becoming passengers or having to walk to school.
Public meetings are scheduled for Bayside Secondary School at 6 o’clock Tuesday (March 28), Wednesday (March 29) at 6 o’clock at W.R. Kirk Building on Palmer Road in Belleville, and Thursday (March 30) at Prince Edward Collegiate at 6 o’clock.
Meetings have already been held in Bancroft and Madoc.
