The cities of Belleville and Quinte West will be marking Giveaway Day on April 15.
Residents are ask to place unwanted household items in good condition on the curb in front of their homes for others to take.
Items to give away include DVDs, books, furniture, small appliances, kitchen items and construction materials, including hardware, lumber and drywall.
For residents of Belleville, you are asked to place items on the curb by 8 a.m. and to have any leftover items brought back in by 8 p.m.
For Quinte West residents, the event will run from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Both cities ask to have the items marked as free whether it be through stickers or a sign.
