The province’s Special Investigations Unit is investigating circumstances surrounding the death of a man Wednesday morning in Kingston.
Just before 7 a.m., Kingston police received a 911 call about a man on the ledge of the fourth floor of the Chown Memorial Parking Garage on Brock Street.
Upon arriving at the scene, an officer exited his cruiser and attempted to speak with the man.
Shortly after, the man fell to the ground below.
He was transported to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Three investigators and one forensic investigator have been assigned to the case.
The post-mortem is scheduled for Thursday in Kingston.
