Ontario Provincial Police have taken over the investigation of a fire on Gray Road in Roslin.
Gray Road is located just off Highway 37.
Centre Hastings Fire responded to the blaze around 9:30 Friday morning.
No details have been given as to why OPP have taken over the investigation.
There was notable smoke damage.
About two to three dozen emergency officials are on scene.
Centre Hastings Fire Chief Bob Branscombe tells Quinte News that the estimated damage for the house fire is $200,000.
