Three people were taken to Trenton Memorial Hospital Tuesday night after a kitchen fire at a large apartment complex in Trenton.
Quinte West firefighters responded at 7:30 to a building at 30 Annwood Court.
Fire damage was confined to the kitchen but there was heavy smoke damage to the rest of the apartment.
A mother and daughter, along with a neighbour who tried to help, were taken to hospital for treatment.
The cause is listed as accidental. There’s no damage estimate at this time.
