Two people are facing charges following separate incidents investigated by Bancroft OPP.
Thursday afternoon officers stopped a suspected stolen vehicle.
Further investigation revealed that the vehicle had been stolen from the Toronto area.
Ashley Rallison, 35, from Bancroft is charged with possession of property obtained by crime and drug possession.
The accused is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing Wednesday.
Early Friday afternoon, officers were called to an incident on Hastings Street North in Bancroft resulting in the arrest of one person.
A charge of assault causing bodily harm was laid against 46-year-old Edward Shwedo of North Kawartha Township.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on April 11.
