Quinte West OPP say they have arrested and charged a driver after a vehicle was deemed stolen.
Around 7 a.m. on Friday, OPP officers were on patrol when they stopped a vehicle on Hwy 401 in Quinte West for a traffic-related offence.
An investigation led to an arrest.
Sixty-one-year-old David Russell of Durham region was charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, alter/ destroy/ removing a vehicle identification number and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
The accused was released from custody and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on April 6.
