Northumberland County and the Municipality of Brighton are asking for the public’s input into recommended design improvements on the reconstruction of County Road 64.
The road, also known as Prince Edward Street, is reaching its end of life and needs upgrades or a replacement.
A public information session is being held in Owen Gibb Community Hall at the King Edward Park Arena in Brighton on March 21.
Northumberland County will be presenting revised plans based on feedback received at the July 27, 2022 meeting.
Preferred designs include upgraded sidewalks, traffic calming features to reduce vehicle speeds, intersection upgrades and paved shoulders for cyclists.
The session will take place from 5 –7 p.m.
