A workshop on Community Economic Development is coming to Belleville.
Community Economic Development is described as the process of fostering an environment that results in the creation of wealth and well-being for the benefit of the community.
The Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs is hosting several regional in-person and virtual workshops for those involved in local economic development such as municipal councillors, economic development practitioners, and volunteer committee members with economic development responsibilities.
Learn and take away practical tools to help your municipality develop and implement an effective economic development strategy.
The no charge workshop will help attendees learn the basics about economic development in their community and how these concepts can be applied in your municipal environment.
