The sunshine list, a list of public sector workers making $100,000 a year or more, has grown slightly in Quinte West.
The number of municipal employees in Quinte West earning $100,000 or more was 46 last year, up from 44 in 2021.
Chief Administrative Officer David Clazie topped the list, making over $190,000. In second place was Fire Chief John Whalen at $158,232 and right behind him was Director of Public Works Chris Angelo at $158,223.
Seventeen of the 46 people listed were from the fire department.
Many people think the sunshine list has been irrelevant for some time having begun 26 years ago in 1996 when $100,000 was worth a lot more in buying power than it is today.
