Bancroft OPP has charged a driver who was in possession of a stolen vehicle.
On March 7, shortly before 10:00 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle for speed. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle had been stolen from the Toronto area.
Jose Callejas, a 39-year-old from Montreal, has been charged with:
Possession of property obtained by crime
Possession of a Schedule 1 substance
The accused has been held in custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on March 8.
