Cobourg police are asking for the public’s help in a shooting investigation.
Around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, police responded after hospital staff say a man was dropped at Northumberland Hills Hospital, suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was transported to a Toronto area trauma centre with critical injuries.
Police believe this was not a random incident.
Anyone with info or dash cam footage around the area early Tuesday, are asked to contact Cobourg police or Crimestoppers.
