The Quinte West Fire Department was kept busy Wednesday morning.
Shortly before 7 o’clock firefighters were called to a six-plex apartment building on Trenton’s North Murray Street for an oven fire. The flames were quickly put out and a father and two daughters were treated by paramedics on the scene.
Later, at 7:40 a.m., Frankford and North Murray crews responded to minor garage fire on Dor Ann Drive near Stockdale.
That fire was also quickly extinguished and damage was minor. The homeowner had to be taken to hospital for treatment for smoke inhalation.
