Belleville police arrested a man after reports someone was waving a handgun around late Tuesday night on Front Street in the Downtown District.
Calls came in around 11 o’clock and police arrested a 41-year-old Belleville man on the scene.
After a search officers seized a pellet pistol.
He is in for a bail hearing Wednesday.
