Ottawa Senators goalie Mads Sogaard is February’s NHL Rookie of the Month.
The 22-year-old from Denmark, called up from the Belleville Sens due to injuries to Anton Forsberg and Cam Talbot, posted a 4-0-1 record last month with a 2.33 goals-against average and a .922 save-percentage.
He’ll continue to back up Talbot as Forsberg is out with a season-ending injury to the MCL in both knees.
