The City of Quinte West will be looking at a resolution to approve the 2023 Water and Sewer budgets in a special council meeting on Wednesday.
The respective budgets will look at system upgrades taking place over the next four years including the FBI Trunk Main going from the River Crossing to Highway 2 in 2023, upsizing the Trent Street Pump Station in 2026 and the start of upsizing the Riverside Parkway Pump Station.
They will also show the total outstanding debt will grow by $27 million over the next four years if the budgets are approved.
The new debt is being used for growth-related projects that are Development Charge eligible.
The Water and Sewer budget will not affect the current tax levy.
