Northumberland County has announced it has made a purchase that will help address housing.
The county has purchased a 22-unit apartment complex at 123 King Street East in Colborne.
It has also announced a partnership with the Northumberland County Housing Corporation (NCHC).
The purchase was made using $1.55 million in housing reserves.
Northumberland County will take possession as of March 1, 2023, transitioning ownership to the NCHC.
