On Saturday, in Junior C hockey, the Port Hope Panthers sunk the Picton Pirates 4-2 and the Napanee Raiders slipped past the Frankford Huskies 4-3 in overtime
Meanwhile in the Eastern Ontario Senior League, the Tweed Oil Kings dismantled the Smiths Falls Rideaus 8-2 in the first game of their best of five playoff series. The two teams clash again tonight in Smiths Falls at 8 p.m.
On Sunday, the Junior A league battle of Quinte takes off as the Trenton Golden Hawks host the Wellington Dukes at 7:30.
