Impaired charges have been laid in a couple of weekend incidents in Prince Edward County.
OPP and Hastings Quinte Paramedics responded to a single vehicle rollover on County Road 23 Saturday morning just after 9 a.m.
The driver was taken to hospital and was arrested.
Twenty-three-year-old Alex Dodson of Prince Edward County is charged with:
Operation while impaired
Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration
Dangerous operation
Novice driver – BAC above zero
Monday police stopped a vehicle clocked at 146 km/hr on Highway 62.
The officer suspected the driver may have been impaired and after testing, arrested 21-year-old Bradley Michaud from Cameron with:
Operation while impaired
Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration
Operation while prohibited
Drive motor vehicle – perform stunt – excessive speed
Both accused have courts dates of March 15.
