If any group knows how to party it’s the folks from the Maritimes and for the third year running,
a big “Down East Kitchen Party” is in the works here in the Quinte region.
And all proceeds from the shindig will go toward two worthy organizations, the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation and Wounded Warriors Canada.
Organizer Lorraine O’Quinn says live entertainment in the form of Newfoundland’s own The Navigators will be on hand March 25 at the National Air Force Museum.
Alicia Sewell from Astounding Heights Dance Studio will get people on the dance floor with Newfoundland ugly sticks along with prizes.
O’Quinn says the past two Down East Kitchen Parties raised over $100,000 for the TMH Foundation.
Cocktails will be at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 o’clock.
