It’s crunch time for the Belleville Senators in more ways than one tonight (Wed).
The B-Sens host the Syracuse Crunch to kick off a four game home stand at the CAA Arena.
The AHL North Division rivals have split their previous four games however Syracuse sits in third place in the Division ten points ahead of the last place Senators.
Belleville is eight points out of a playoff spot with 26 games left in the regular season. They have lost three in a row and 10 of their last 12 games.
With both of Belleville’s goaltenders, Mads Sogaard and Kevin Mandolese with the parent Ottawa Senators, the locals will turn to veteran Antoine Bibeau and ECHL call-up Logan Flodell to handle crease for the Sens.
The four game home stand will be squashed into six days with Laval in town for games Friday, Saturday and Family Day on Monday.
