Hastings Prince Edward Public Health is reporting two more deaths from COVID-19.
In its weekly update, Public Health confirms 109 deaths have now been linked to the virus.
Active cases are also up – 122 new high-risk cases were diagnosed last week with the number of active cases rising from 104 to 137.
Seventeen people are in hospital with two in intensive care, just a slight bump from last week’s numbers.
Active outbreaks in high-risk settings decreased from seven to five.
There were no lab-confirmed cases of influenza over the last week and there are no current institutional outbreaks involving flu or respiratory illness.
HPEPH’s dashboard shows emergency department visits for flu-like illnesses were up slightly but are still well down from when illness was peaking in mid-November.
