A big recreational facility like the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre is in constant need of upgrades, maintenance, and new equipment.
Monday Belleville council will see an overview of this year’s proposed capital budget in which over $2 million is earmarked for the centre.
Over half of the $2 million will be for the installation of safety railing, flooring, and rink glass. Work is also planned for various doors and the roof.
Also, part of the proposed capital spending plan will be cleaning and fitness equipment.
