Belleville police responded to 205 calls for service in the 72-hour period from 5 a.m. on February 10, 2023 to 5 a.m. on February 13, 2023.
Stolen Vehicle
On February 11, 2023, shortly after 9 a.m., police were called to a car dealership in the north end. Officers learned that sometime overnight an unplated, white 2019 Infiniti QX50 (SUV) was stolen from the lot. Arrest on Warrant
On February 11, 2023, shortly after 7 p.m., police were called to an east end establishment regarding an unwanted person. Officers learned that a female party was no longer welcome on the premise. Through investigation, officers determined that the female in question was currently wanted by the Belleville Police Service for failing to comply with a release order. Subsequently, 51-year-old Raquel Nicholas of Belleville was arrested and released with a court date in March 2023.
Arrest on Warrant
On February 12, 2023 at 6 p.m., Belleville police were called to a Coleman Street residence regarding a disturbance. Police learned that an involved female was not supposed to be at the residence. Police attended, and learned she was wanted on a warrant for failing to comply with a release order. Angela Benn, 43, of Belleville, was arrested and held in custody for a bailing hearing on February 13, 2023
