A grateful patient is saying thank you by making a significant donation to the Belleville General Hospital Foundation.
Al Suba on behalf of the Al and Andrea Suba Foundation gifted BGHF with $25,000.
Suba says he received excellent care, as did his wife, particularly from Dr. Trevor Bardell, and now wants the hospital to have what it needs to be there for others.
The donation will be directed towards the Foundation’s Be Well Campaign, which aims to raise $20M for critical regional services at Belleville General Hospital including Oncology, Nuclear Medicine, the Fracture Clinic, and priority equipment purchases.
“With over $6M in equipment replacement and purchase needs last year alone, this gift will go to work, straight away,” said Steve Cook, Executive Director, BGHF. “I’m delighted to welcome the Al and Andrea Suba Foundation into our community of incredible supporters.
