The Wellington Dukes battled the Toronto Junior Canadiens to a standstill with a 1-1 draw after double overtime.

Neither team was willing to give the other any ground in the nearly penalty-free game. After a scoreless first period, Toronto slipped a shot into the back of the Dukes’ net, but the Dukes came back and answered in kind to tie the game. With the game tied through the rest of regular play, the two teams faced off in first overtime, and then double overtime. Despite the clock running down, neither team would give an inch and the game was declared a draw at the end of double overtime.
Meanwhile in local Junior C hockey action the Campbellford Rebels thumped the Frankford Huskies 8-4 and the Port Hope Panthers dismantled the Napanee Raiders 5-1.
In the Eastern Ontario Senior Hockey League, the Tweed Oil Kings beat the Arnprior Rivermen 5-3, and the Deseronto Bulldogs won against the Cornwall Prowlers after the Prowlers forfeit.
