UPDATE: 4:04 p.m. – Power restored
Crews are working to fix a power outage in the northwest end of Belleville today.
Power went out around 11 a.m. in an area of Sidney Street from Moira Street to the Bell Boulevard area.
Elexicon Energy reports some power has been restored but Sidney Street from Parkdale Drive to Moira Street remains affected with a 7 p.m. estimated restoration time.
According to Tweets from Elexicon, the cause for the outage appears to be animal interference.
