There was a slight drop in the number of active COVID-19 cases across Hastings and Prince Edward Counties last week however hospitalizations due to the virus are up.
There were 91 new high-risk cases diagnosed but the number of active cases fell from 111 to 104.
The number of COVID related deaths remains at 107.
Fifteen people are currently in hospital, up from eight.
One person is in intensive care.
There are seven active outbreaks in high-risk settings.
Meanwhile it was another week without any new lab-confirmed cases of influenza but there were two new institutional outbreaks of respiratory-type illnesses.
