The Quinte region’s newest millionaire comes from Trenton.
Anthony Staden won $1 million in OLG’s Instant Ultimate draw held on December 31.
Staden says at first he thought he’d won $1,000 when he checked his ticket on New Year’s Day.
After taking another look with his wife, they realized it was much more.
He says he bought the ticket because it had the best odds of winnings $1 million.
He plans to pay some bills, share his win with family and take his wife on vacation.
The winning ticket was purchased at a Brampton convenience store.
