Faraday Township council has made a major contribution toward a new CT scanner for North Hastings Hospital.
Quinte Health President and CEO Stacey Daub says it’s great news.
“North Hastings Hospital is very close to being on the cusp of getting its go-ahead to build a CT scanner so our board, one of the first things our board did was approve the CT scanner and they made a tremendous contribution to that fundraising.”
Faraday Township council has pledged $500,000 toward a state-of-the-art CT scanner. The North Hastings Fund Development Committee has a $2 million goal for the project.
