There were no new cases of the flu and active cases of COVID-19 dropped significantly in Hastings and Prince Edward last week.
In its weekly update, Hastings Prince Edward Public Health reported no new cases of flu and no new institutional outbreaks due to influenza.
There remain three active outbreaks along with five outbreaks of other respiratory illness.

There were 80 new high-risk cases of COVID reported over the last week and while active cases dropped from 146 to 94, Public Health is reporting two more deaths attributed to the virus.
The HPEPH dashboard shows 103 deaths since the start of the pandemic.
Twelve people with COVID are in hospital (down one) and there are six outbreaks (down two) in high-risk settings.
Four outbreaks were deemed over but two new ones were declared.
