Belleville police responded to 95 calls for service from 5 a.m. on January 23, 2022 to 5 a.m. on January 24, 2022.
Break, enter, and mischief
On January 23, 2023 at 11:45 a.m. police responded to a school on Wallbridge-Loyalist Road regarding a break-in. Sometime during the previous night, unknown suspect(s) entered a portable on the school’s property and started a fire. There was some damage caused to the portable and police are still investigating. Impaired driving
On January 23, 2023 at 2:53 p.m,. police received a call from staff at an east end elementary school as there was a belief that a parent who was picking up her child was believed to be intoxicated. Police attended and conducted an investigation which confirmed that the female was under the influence of alcohol. A 29-year-old female from Belleville was arrested and charged for impaired operation and over 80mgs. She was later released with a February 9, 2023 court date.
