Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the Quinte region calling for significant snowfall starting Wednesday afternoon.
The weather agency says 10-15 centimetres of snow could fall in the area starting Wednesday afternoon into Thursday morning.
Some local areas could see upwards of 20 centimetres.
