Several reports to Quinte News indicated a possible gas leak at a Belleville high school early Monday.
Shortly after 9:00 a.m., emergency crews responded to St. Theresa Catholic Secondary on Adam Street, right behind the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre.
Reports indicate the smell of gas.
An evacuation of the school has taken place, with students and staff sheltering at the Wellness Centre.
Students have returned to the school.
Meantime, there was an evacuation at V.P. Carswell in Trenton Monday morning for a reported gas leak.
The odor originated in the community, not the school, and things are back to normal.
