Charges have been laid after a motor vehicle was spotted in the ditch in Quinte West.
Around 1 a.m. on Saturday, Quinte West OPP responded to a truck stuck in the ditch on Foxboro-Stirling Road.
An investigation led to a driver being arrested.
Twenty-two-year-old Travis Pierce of Quinte West was charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on February 3.
His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.
