A workshop was destroyed by fire east of Colborne on Friday night.
Today’s Northumberland reports that the Cramahe Township Fire Department responded to a fire on County Road 2.
The structure was engulfed in flames when the firefighters arrived.
The building’s owner believes the fire started at a wood stove and spread to the rest of the building. He says he was able to remove several motorcycles and equipment from the building after noticing the fire.
Brighton Fire Department was called for assistance.
There is no estimate of the damage at this time.
