A study is underway on the future of the Adventure Class program in Hastings Prince Edward schools.
A spokesperson for the Hastings Prince Edward District School Board indicates the work has been ongoing this academic year.
Communications and Privacy Manager Kerry Donnell tells Quinte News the study is expected to be completed by the spring.
Earlier this week a spokesperson for a parental group told Quinte News the study had not been started.
Spokesperson for Save The Adventure Class, Keelin Meyer, said the program was slated to close in time for the 2023-24 school year, and there was no study underway.
The school board says the study is underway and will be completed this spring.
