Prince Edward County OPP have arrested two individuals in connection with a weapons incident.
Just before 2 a.m. Wednesday, police received a report that two individuals with weapons were at a residence in Picton.
Officers spotted the suspects leaving the residence and conducted a traffic stop.
During a search, police seized two cell phones, knives and a conducted energy weapon.
Two 18-year-olds, Edosa Abdisa from Scarborough and Caleb Williams from Ajax were arrested and charged with knowledge of authorized possession of weapon. Abdisa was further charged with disobeying an order of court and possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order.
Both individuals were held for a bail hearing on Wednesday.
