The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad (R.O.P.E) says it has located and arrested a federal offender wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant in Belleville.
Drew Stone was said to be in breach of his statutory release.
Stone is currently serving a a four-year, four-month and thirteen day sentence for the following:
- Theft Under $5000,
- Possession of Schedule I Substance x 2,
- Possession of Schedule I/ II Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2,
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order x 2,
- Possession of Prohibited/Restricted Firearm with Ammunition,
- Possession of Property of Obtained by Crime Over $5000,
- Fail to Comply with Condition of Undertaking/Recog,
- Operate Motor Vehicle While Disqualified.
The Provincial R.O.P.E. Squad thanked the public and the media for their assistance in the investigation.
