Tuesday is the second annual Betty White Challenge and Humane Society Hastings Prince Edward hopes people will remember the iconic actress by making a donation.
White, an avid animal lover and advocate, passed away December 31, 2021.
Shortly after, on what would have been her 100th birthday on January 17, the #BettyWhiteChallenge went viral, with hundreds of thousands of dollars donated to animal organizations worldwide in her honour.
HSHPE Executive Director Marilyn Lawrie says they were overwhelmed by the support last year, receiving almost $24,000 in donations.
