OPP are involved in an investigation after an inmate died at Millhaven Institution Sunday.
OPP, along with the Joint Forces Penitentiary Squad, were called in after 29-year-old Victor James was found with life-threatening injuries in the Kingston area prison after being assaulted.
He was later pronounced deceased.
No charges have yet been laid.
